I'm like a little bird...always bringing things back to my nest

Have You Robbed Anyone Lately?

Well, actually I just sort of copied Dawn at The Feathered Nest. She posted a day or two ago about loving nests and using the ones she has collected. In my cupboard where I had my Easter and Spring stuff, I have some nests, so... this little one fit perfectly on an old bed spring, and this vintage glittered birdie fit perfectly in the nest. I did, however, steal Michele's idea, from her blog Primp. She hung tags spelling out "SPRING", on the string on a vintage frame. I had this frame and wondered what to do with it. When I saw her's, I just took the idea and ran with it...so to speak! I'm going now, to confess to these ladies and hope they won't deal too harshly with me!!

  3. It is not stealing. It is emulating and you did a fantastic job! If others didn't want to inspire us, they wouldn't show us their photos! lol

  7. I saw a nest yesterday that I was so wanting to take and then I saw a little birdy flying around so I left it alone. Thanks so much for stopping by and wishing my son a HB. Hope you have a great week, T

  9. Hello over there Angela....!!

THANK YOU for your SWEET comment....I'm CHUFFED you liked my boxes....They really do make me SMILE OUT LOUD & I ENJOYED sharing them.... :o) !!

Your blog header is DELICIOUS....The 50's green & blue REALLY sings to me....And your nest on the spring is just TOO CUTE....I WISH I could find small nests....I do have a LARGE one that fell out of a tree during a storm but it's SO heavy it's fragile & hard to handle....I have it sitting outside my entry on a chair while I work out how to corral it....hahahahaha....

I couldn't help but notice you're in Texas....Are you going to Round Top by chance....?? I'll be there from the 20th - 29th March & it would be LOVELY to catch up with you....I'm looking forward to meeting up with Lezlee from Prior while I'm there also....!!!!!

    Well I must away....It's after 1am 'down here' & I really SHOULD be in bed....If ONLY blogging were'nt such fun.... :o) !!

    Cheers for now,
    Tamarah :o)
