Have You Robbed Anyone Lately?

Well, actually I just sort of copied Dawn at The Feathered Nest. She posted a day or two ago about loving nests and using the ones she has collected. In my cupboard where I had my Easter and Spring stuff, I have some nests, so... this little one fit perfectly on an old bed spring, and this vintage glittered birdie fit perfectly in the nest. I did, however, steal Michele's idea, from her blog Primp. She hung tags spelling out "SPRING", on the string on a vintage frame. I had this frame and wondered what to do with it. When I saw her's, I just took the idea and ran with it...so to speak! I'm going now, to confess to these ladies and hope they won't deal too harshly with me!!

  1. That is so cute!
Where did you get the tags?
I so have to copy this!! :)

I love all the green and blue on your header! So pretty!
    And nice to meet you!
I am now a follower! Stop by some time!!

  2. What an adorable vignette. So springy (pun intended :) and cute.

  3. It is not stealing. It is emulating and you did a fantastic job! If others didn't want to inspire us, they wouldn't show us their photos! lol

  4. Just came over from Dawns blog...with a smile on my face about your comment! I love a gal who has great ideas...and I really loveagal who knows how to make them her own! Your Spring vignette is adorable! I love your bloggie home too...hapy spring! Stop ove sometime...I too have a birdie spring vignette to share..but it will takeme a bit..my table is full of sewing projects.

  5. You can't steal inspiration when it is given so freely by bloggers! Your little scene rocks!
    Hugs- Tete

  6. Oh, cute little vignette! I love the tags in the frame idea, 'might have to steal that one, too! I also adore your McCoy collection in your header -- swoon! Thanks for visiting my blog and commenting!

  7. I saw a nest yesterday that I was so wanting to take and then I saw a little birdy flying around so I left it alone. Thanks so much for stopping by and wishing my son a HB. Hope you have a great week, T

  8. Angela thank you so much for your supportive words. Greatly appreciated. I know that you know how it feels. Thank you. It is nice to know I can make it to the other side.

  9. Hello over there Angela....!!

THANK YOU for your SWEET comment....I'm CHUFFED you liked my boxes....They really do make me SMILE OUT LOUD & I ENJOYED sharing them.... :o) !!

Your blog header is DELICIOUS....The 50's green & blue REALLY sings to me....And your nest on the spring is just TOO CUTE....I WISH I could find small nests....I do have a LARGE one that fell out of a tree during a storm but it's SO heavy it's fragile & hard to handle....I have it sitting outside my entry on a chair while I work out how to corral it....hahahahaha....

I couldn't help but notice you're in Texas....Are you going to Round Top by chance....?? I'll be there from the 20th - 29th March & it would be LOVELY to catch up with you....I'm looking forward to meeting up with Lezlee from Prior while I'm there also....!!!!!

    Well I must away....It's after 1am 'down here' & I really SHOULD be in bed....If ONLY blogging were'nt such fun.... :o) !!

    Cheers for now,
    Tamarah :o)

  10. Oh such a wonderful little vignette! GREAT idea and I'm sure she's flattered that you used it! Thanks for your sweet compliment! I hope you were able to get some of the faux moss stones!
