A Tisket, A Tasket

...I found my little basket! I love this frilly old basket. When I was a little girl the baskets were so pretty. Someone spent a lot of time wrapping ribbon and gathering netting to surprise a little one on Easter morning. I bought two just alike nearly 20 years ago. One for me and one to sell. This one was a floral arrangement basket. I prefer to think it was for a little girl's birth, even though I usually hear them referred to as funeral baskets. I had a white one and a blue one that I sold. Wish I had the white one back. I'm going to join Debra @ Common Ground for Vintage Inspiration Friday. Come look around. Have a beautiful day!

  7. These are just the sweetest, I too hate thinking of these as "funeral" baskets. These are so precious, love the little birds and chick. The pastel quilt in the background is so sweet and springy! Thanks so much for linking up with VIF!
