Surprises

Don't you love happy surprises? I was looking...okay digging, in a drawer that I stash all the greeting cards I receive. In the back corner was a large baggie. I have no recollection of buying it, but I'm sure I must have stashed it when I was cleaning up for company!! I'd never even looked through it...it was like Christmas morning! There are about a dozen broken necklaces and gobs of earrings, buttons, a sweater clip, and an embroidered piece. The stamped pattern says it is a buffet set...it just needs the crocheted trim around the pieces. I am capable of doing that, but I know it would still be here waiting when I'm long gone...so I better find an outlet for some of this good stuff!! You know what my sweetie always says, "It keeps coming in, and nothing's going out!".

  1. Hello Miss Angela, I'm so glad you came to visit my little blog and very flattered that you became a follower! I browsed through your blog while listening to Jesus Messiah, that song makes my heart sing =o)

Isn't it funny how you forget about things you stash away and, you're right, it's just like Christmas when you find them again. lol
I still have my things packed away in storage from when we lost our house 3 years ago and I can't wait to rediscover all my little treasures someday, I should probably unpack them during Christmas huh? lol
My MIL lives about 20 minutes away from me in Laguna Niguel which is just around the corner from where you were freezing your little tootsies off in the cold water. lol
Maybe I'll get to meet you in person if you're down this way again.

Sorry for the long comment, I had too much coffee this morning, still winding down =^O

I am now YOUR newest follower

  3. Hi Angela, Thank you so much for stopping by to visit me! And, thank you for 'following me' - I don't know how to do that myself!!! Even though I have had my blog for quite awhile, I have been slow at some of the newer things. I love your blog - and your music - and your sweet photos. I will put your blog on just for the music!! Hugs to you - Patti
