I've always loved this print. There are two sets of 12 napkins, two sets of pillowcases with crocheted trim, a baby pillowcase, old books, pictures, a tole tray, and a cemetery basket.
Here is a newer decorative birdcage, two aprons, skirtmarkers, cookie cutters, large blocks, cookbooks, a lace table runner, a red mug hanger, aluminum S&P and funnel. I love this coffeepot cover!! I forgot to add a big bag of vintage sewing notions to the pile.
An old fireman helmet, vintage bottles, insulators, and "stuff", a tool tote, wool combing thingies, and a horse muzzle!! I like this old galvanized funnel and tin and spool and some kind of large needle...could it be for leather work or something? It has a decorative design on it. Then this 1920's school album from Oak Cliff High School in Dallas. It has the neatest old photos, especially of the sports teams.
A couple of women asked me what in the world I was going to do with the horse muzzle. When I told them I was going to put a bird's nest in it, I expected to get funny looks...instead, they lit up and said that that was a cute idea!
This was really a fun day for me. I just love a good treasure hunt, go eat breakfast, and go home to unpack your good stuff!!
I hope you had a fun weekend also!
Love your green and aqua pottery! Just the colors you spoke about!

Hi, Angela, Boy you really found some neat things. I remember that picture of the little girl looking at the bird from one we had at home when I was growing up. Don't know where my mother found it.
ReplyDeletePlease excuse me for not checking in more often. For some reason your latest postings don't come up on my favorites and I'm not savvy enough to figure out why. So unless I get to the bottom of the list and look at your blog I don't know if you've posted.
I really like your blog and will try to keep up. Diane
The pottery on the shelf is so pretty - lovely soft colors! I love the idea of a birds nest in the horse muzzle!! Can't wait to see it!
