these little silver spoon pins that were popular sometime in the 50's? I suppose that memory would have stayed there in the back of my mind forever...but this one in the Salvation Army jewelry case brought it to the forefront. I think that's part of the reason I love hunting down all this old stuff so much...it is a link to my childhood.
Here are a few more things I've picked up lately. These little satin bridal supply flowers were very white, so I tea dyed them. I think they make good centers for some pattern paper flowers.
Have a happy day!!
too weird, i am tea dying something right now. an embroidered little sampler that was just too bright white! thats funny! you always find the coolest things, are you thinking of getting back in the biz??
ReplyDeleteVery late checking in on you Angela, just got home from a designer home for a featured model. I love your music... always walking in faith speaking the word.
ReplyDeleteLove your litt;e treasured finds, it's so me, I will find things I know I can create from even if I don't have a vision for it at the moment.
Come visit girl, I am going to take your music to my peaceful place.

I like the paper flowers you made. Too cute. Hope you have a wonderful Memorial Day weekend.
ReplyDeleteIt IS funny how we want to go back to those things we remember from childhood. Although, I can't get into the "danish modern" that my mom had! Luckily, my family soon got into antiques so it saved me!
ReplyDeleteHope you're having a great weekend,
xo,
Debra
