The living, dining, and kitchen, along with the bar area that separates them, is a lot of wall space. It looks so good that we were inspired to spend Monday doing the entry and large hallway. I'll be starting on the bathrooms next.
We've found that we are a lot slower than the last time we tackled a project like this. Pain pills are necessary in order to sleep and recover now. We think this may be our last rodeo!!
I'll try to post this on White Wednesday with Faded Charm. I was unable to get it posted the last time I tried. In any case go on over to see all the beautiful white blogposts.
Have a great week,
Angela
Hi Angela,
ReplyDeleteI love your fireplace surround. I have the same print with the little girl and the bird. Happy week!

Love the faux fireplace and how nicely it's decorated.

Those colors are beautiful together. Funny how you get slower and achier, isn't it? Diane
ReplyDeleteIt's so hard to choose colors for your own house! I have lived with all white for several years now and I think I'm gonna go out on a limb and do some dark gray walls! Not sure if I'll like it but I'm gonna try it!
ReplyDeleteSo glad you like your new changes! Love that mantel!

My hubby and I do drugs now, too, when we tackle big things. Advil...the wonder drug. ;)
ReplyDeleteLove the fire place and the walls are wonderful. Great backgound for warmth and all your color going on there, subtle but fun.
I hate picking paint colors! There are too many to choose from. I could do it just fine if there were only 5...but not 500...my mind goes in a tailspin.
I know exactly what you mean! I'm thinking that if we are going to remodel again, we'd better do it soon, while I am still kind of capable.
ReplyDeleteI love that mantel and all the colors are perfect with it.
ReplyDeleteThe paint color is nice. But I'm eyeing that mantel. It's very different with that shelf.

Looks great! Good combo. Miss you guys!
ReplyDeleteYour fireplace is so cool...and I love how you added the pops of color with the aqua and green pottery.
