I'm still Christmasy!!

It seems that everyone else is busy putting Christmas decorations away and getting cleaned up and organized. Am I the only one that snuggles in and slowly comes down from the Christmas busy-ness? I really enjoy a nice leisurely withdrawal period. I'm also making the things that I didn't get to before Christmas...like our stockings! They'll be already for next year!! There is one more banner I want to make too. Did I mention that I'm a procrastinator deluxe!! Oh well, it makes a perfect White Wednesday post. Please visit Faded Charm for lots of wonderful whites.

  1. When I worked at the Episcopal Church I learned that Christmas isn't over until January 6th. Of course there's also the reasoning that Christmas should be in our hearts all year long. Either way, you still have plenty of time Angela. Enjoy it. Diane

  2. How funny, that is how I am too. I try to craft things I did not get time for that Christmas and use them for the next.

  3. We are taking our home back one section at a time. Can't do it all at once and we leave our trees up until after New Year's so we can sit in the dark and watch the lights a little longer!
Love your stockings! Too cute! They look good this year!
Thank you for leaving your commnet on my post. I did not explain it well and thanks for letting me know that. I did another post to explain it better!
I do have this bad habit of thinking people can read my mind- a scary place to enter, for sure!
    Again- thanks so much-
    Hugs and blessings- Tete

  4. HELLO ANGELA,
I FOUND YOUR BLOG THROUGH TETE-GARDEN GATE. I HAVE A TRADITION OF SENDING MY CHRISTMAS CARDS WITH NEWS LETTER OUT AFTER CHRISTMAS. IT SEEMS PEOPLE WORK SO HARD FOR CHRISTMAS AND THEN IT IS OVER WITH THE SHREDDING OF THE WRAPPING PAPER...I WANT EVERYONE TO HAVE SOMETHING TO LOOK FORWARD TO, SO I ALWAYS DO AFTER CHRISTMAS CARDS. EVERYONE LOVES TO GET THEM THEN.
I BECAME YOUR 68TH FOLLOWER AND WOULD LIKE TO EXTEND THE INVITATION TO YOU TO JOIN MY BLOG. I WILL BE HAVING A GIVE AWAY MID JANUARY FOR MY FOLLOWERS ONLY OUT OF APPRECIATION.
I LOOK FORWARD TO GETTING TO KNOW YOU BETTER IN 2011.
    I LOVE YOUR CHRISTMAS STOCKINGS.
    HUGS

  5. Hi Angela,
I love your wreath and stockings on the old screen, it's perfect!! I didn't get a lot of decorations put up this year, so there wasn't much to take down. I'm in the process of freshening stuff up around the house, as you saw.
Thank you for your lovely comment, it meant so much!
Have a joyous and healthy New Year!
    Sincerely,
    Melinda

  6. Hi Angela,
I am laughing... I always leave my Christmas things out until January 16th. That was my Dad's birthday and the day after, the decorations-tree
    got put away.
Since I have not been feeling well, my Christmas came late this year....so, I am happy to still have time to enjoy it.
Nothing wrong with that....enjoy it a little longer.
I wish you a happy and healthy New Year.
    Blessings, Evi

  7. Beautiful stockings, worth the wait! Ya, I put my Christmas away yesterday, used to keep it up longer when we lived up north, snowmen well into February, so sad. Unfortunately, the next step here is cleaning, yuck, but not moving too fast on it. Plus I think the people at my junk shops are missing me.
All the best to you in this new year!
    Susanne.
